The journey began with honey. Inspired by the natural richness of the Scottish landscape, Suzie and Iain Millar launched The Scottish Bee Company, creating honeys that were both full of goodness and flavour. What started as a passion for beekeeping and better food quickly grew into a trusted brand, known for its commitment to nature, sustainability, and great taste.
As their vision expanded, so did their product range. From honey, they moved into a collection of delicous dressings, infused vinegars, condiments, bold hot honeys, and most recently, a luxurious honey-based chocolate spread.
Every product remained anchored in the same principles: clean ingredients, sustainable sourcing, and care for both people and planet.
Seven years on and The Scottish Bee Company is now evolving into The Natural Larder Collective—a broader platform that brings together a community of brands who share the same values of authenticity, purpose, and respect for nature.
The Collective is creating a home for like-minded producers who are passionate about real ingredients and a slower, more thoughtful approach to food.
People are increasingly looking for food and drink that is more than just convenient—they want products that tell a story, are made responsibly, and reflect a transparent supply chain.
There’s a growing desire for authenticity, for brands that champion natural over artificial, and for labels they can trust. Provenance, sustainability, and wellness are no longer niche concerns—they’re now at the heart of purchasing decisions.
The first brand to join the Collective was Nuisance Drinks, a botanical soft drinks company turning often-overlooked wild ingredients—like herbs and shrubs—into refreshing, flavour-forward beverages.
Their approach to foraging and nature-first innovation is a perfect match for the Natural Larder’s Collective's philosophy.
Together, the brands reflect a consumer shift away from over-processed, mass-produced goods toward thoughtfully crafted alternatives.
Rooted in nature and built on shared values, The Natural Larder Collective marks the beginning of a new kind of food movement - one where collaboration leads the way, and nature remains at the heart of every decision.
